Florida Wine Academy is offering WSET’s advanced certification course in Miami in a unique hybrid format this summer. Recognizing the needs of students who, because of geography or work do not have four consecutive Saturdays available to come to Miami, we are offering this class with a single in-person introductory day on June This is an ideal course for students who do not live in Miami and want to travel as little as possible while still getting the full Level 3 experience. If you are a wine lover in the Caribbean, for example, this is the perfect option for you that gives you a solid grounding in the Level 3 material but does not require extensive travel.
This is a serious course, but it’s also an immensely rewarding course. We cover a broad range of material and train you in important skills of deductive reasoning to “connect the dots” about wine production and wine style. You will work with me and Alessandra Esteves (a stage 2 Master of Wine candidate) during the full day in-person, then join us for a series of webinars you can attend remotely. The course concludes with a half day of in-person tasting and review followed by the exam. This means you only need to travel twice to Miami to complete your Level 3 experience.
The course begins Saturday, June 15, 2024 then continues with a series of webinars beginning Monday, June 17th. The virtual classes will take place once a week on Monday nights via Zoom, from 6 to 8:30/9pm. All sessions will be recorded. The course ends with an in-person review session, followed by the exam on August 10th. All WSET Level 3 exams are in Miami, FL.

Trust me, you want to have a chance to read these through a couple of times before the first class session - there’s a lot of wine here!
