I’m very happy to join my dear friend, chef Doreen Colondres, at her beautiful school for wine and food in Raleigh, Vitis House. I’ll be leading a Level 2 class over two days - Saturday, June 22 and Sunday June 23 — with great wines and informed conversation about wine. Level 2 is a benchmark among WSET courses; the pass rate of my students is 99.5% so you can come to class knowing you’ll get top-level support and coaching to earn your Level 2 certification. A tip - register early so you have plenty of time to read the text book before class - that’s your main key to success (along with the in-class coaching of course). I look forward to seeing you in Raleigh this summer!

Benvenuto Brunello, an event held simultaneously in eight cities worldwide, was the debut of the storied 2019 vintage of Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany’s classic, iconic and all-sangiovese wine. I was the presenter for one of the three American debut tastings, and have the story here.
