I’ll be teaching a three-day intermediate course at Cork & Flame in Augusta, GA. We start July 18 (right after Level 1 on July 17 in case you want to do both courses in tandem) and wrap up the following weekend, July 24 & 25. Both levels 1 and 2 are great courses for everyone interested in getting a solid grounding in wine and having a great time doing it. If you have some wine experience already, you can certainly start with Level 2 but Level 1 has more information about wine and food pairing and is an excellent introduction to the WSET method. We have excellent health protocols in place with wide social distancing and state-of-the-art sanitation plus a Covid test on entry to the class. We have your health and safety strongly in mind.
This is a private course organized with Cork & Flame but there may be places open. If you want more information, contact me directly and I’ll fill you in.
Benvenuto Brunello, an event held simultaneously in eight cities worldwide, was the debut of the storied 2019 vintage of Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany’s classic, iconic and all-sangiovese wine. I was the presenter for one of the three American debut tastings, and have the story here.
