I will be teaching a three-day intermediate course in Boston at the Kimpton NineZero Hotel starting November 6 and 7 then we take a week off to give you study time and wrap up the class on Nov 21 - you’ll be an expert by Thanksgiving! This is a great class for everyone interested in getting a solid grounding in wine and having a great time doing it, just in time to brush up your wine knowledge before the holidays. We will have excellent health protocols in place with wide social distancing and state-of-the-art sanitation - we have your health and safety strongly in mind and whatever measures are still needed in the autumn will definitely be in place.
Fine Vintage’s WSET Level 2 course is a tremendous opportunity to gain expertise in fine wine in an atmosphere that is both comprehensive and fun. We’ll taste 50 wines over the three days of the course, and once you pass the final exam, you’l have the coveted WSET Level 2 Award in Wines credential that is recognized worldwide as the gold standard of wine education. I’ve put together a full-page description of the Level 2 course with links to register here.
The course is given over three days, Novembere 6, 7 and 21 - you have a break between days two and three for extra study and tasting time. For more details, go to the Level Two page on this website.
Benvenuto Brunello, an event held simultaneously in eight cities worldwide, was the debut of the storied 2019 vintage of Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany’s classic, iconic and all-sangiovese wine. I was the presenter for one of the three American debut tastings, and have the story here.
