Pianist Jonathan Bish is one of the most extraordinary talents in the music world, a classical performer with an astonishingly wide world view. He is as much a philosopher as he is a musician, and he excels at both. The brilliantly communicative Jonathan Bish is giving a recital at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on January 16 at 8pm, a performance Lyn will preview in a music talk at 7pm in the Mary Porter Ballroom at the Center.
We'll look into the repertoire on the program and talk about the evolution of the piano as well, with a glass of wine to keep things light and entertaining. The presentation is free to all ticket holders. For more details, visit the Broward Center's easy to navigate website
Benvenuto Brunello, an event held simultaneously in eight cities worldwide, was the debut of the storied 2019 vintage of Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany’s classic, iconic and all-sangiovese wine. I was the presenter for one of the three American debut tastings, and have the story here.
